NEWS | Permanent Conductor of the Opéra de Lyon as of September 2017

Daniele Rustioni is the new Permanent Conductor of the Opéra de Lyon as of September 2017.
«Daniele Rustioni is one of the finest young talents of our times. Youthful, promising and enthusiastic, just like John Eliot Gardiner, Kent Nagano, Louis Langrée or Iván Fischer before him, here in Lyon. He will succeed Kazushi Ono, who has been a tremendous asset to the company. Daniele Rustioni is coming to Lyon with his Italian culture, nourished by his experience in London and worldwide; but also with his open-mindedness and his desire to be one with our orchestra, progressing ever further and explore fresh paths. I am delighted to share this new adventure with him and with our public.»
Opéra National de Lyon Indendant, Serge Dorny
